On 21st March 2006 twitter founder Jack Dorsey posted the first tweet out in the wild. And as unremarkable as it was, it has sparked a new revolution in how live news and information is distributed around the globe.

10 years later and twitter is now the go to location for breaking news, celebrity gossip and social uprising. Revolutions have been staged, fame has been gained, and celebrities have a new stage.
Twitter for the normal man is different for everybody. Some are content to just follow their favourite celebrities, sports stars, artists and political figures. Others engage in the conversation, make new friends, contacts and acquaintances. And others use twitter as a channel for professional profile building.
But as with all social networks there is no manual for twitter (yet!) So the aim of this site is to provide hints and tips as to how you might want to use it for either personal or business purposes.
I have run a multitude of twitter accounts with tens of thousands of followers. I have learnt what has worked, and what hasn’t, and have done so in multiple niches and sectors. Here I am going to share what I have learned with you. I hope you enjoy it.
