Twitter has this week launched a new advertising format as it attempts to turn around its lower than expected revenue performance.

Partnering with Pepsi as a launch partner twitter will begin to offer Sponsored Stickers alongside its standard photo stickers within the platform.  So as a user you will be able to add branded stickers to the photos you tweet.

This is a less obvious advertisement than some of twitter’s current formats and certainly one which involves the users a bit more. I’m just not that sure I can see the appeal of adding a brands logo all over my photos!
